Resale License
Kartellstorela.com is happy to accommodate those in the trade using valid seller’s permits and resale licenses. You may either fax the pertinent papers to (310) 271-9165 or email a PDF copy to kartell@divafurniture.com. Please see bellow for information on these items.
Seller’s Permit
A seller’s permit allows you to collect sales tax from customers and report those amounts to the state on a regular reporting period (monthly, quarterly, or annual). There is no charge for a seller’s permit, but security deposits are sometimes required.
To apply, download a seller’s permit application and mail it to the Board of Equalization (BOE) along with copies of any requested documents. You can also visit the nearest BOE office and apply in person. Temporary permits are also available.
Resale Certificate
A resale certificate lays out the basic information pertaining to a tax free purchase from shopkartell.com to a company or individual with intentions of reselling the items to a client of their own. Some of the information laid out includes the valid seller’s permit number, specifics on the goods that are being sold as well as on each party, the dealer and purchaser. It also explains the purchaser’s sales tax responsibility for their specific state.
